Leisa Bronson collection, 1899-1907

Collection consists of a photographic image of “the rock that killed Al Sieber” who was Chief of Scouts for Gen. George Cook from 1871 to 1873. Sieber was killed by a rolling rock during his work on the construction of Roosevelt Damn in 1907. The collection also includes 52 postcards with images of Southwest Indians from 1899 to 1906 produced by Fred Harvey, Karl Moon, the Detroit Photographic Company and others.
